I worked as a public official in the sewage sector of building permits in South Korea. Through the process of calculating sewage impact fees and verifying the status of rainwater utilization facilities, I gained a certain level of understanding of architectural drawings drawn in CAD. Below, I have summarized the content.

1. Calculate sewerage service charges.

a) Calculate the area according to the purpose of the building using CAD drawings.(A basic understanding of building structures is necessary for accurately calculating private and common areas using CAD drawings.)

b) Calculate the fee amount according to the regulations based on the calculated area.

2. Calculate the runoff volume.

a)In Korea, when constructing buildings, it is required by law to create facilities such as rooftop greening systems and permeable blocks above a certain size to allow rainwater or melted snow to infiltrate into the ground surface.

b)Understanding and assessing the scale of rainwater utilization facilities depicted in CAD drawings is also necessary.
